F.A.Q

Q1. Where are you based?

I am based in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire. I make all my cakes in my brand-new kitchen at home, I am registered and insured.

Q2. Do you make fondant or novelty cakes?

No, I am a buttercream specialist - I sometimes use small amounts of fondant as decoration for my cakes but I do not create fondant cakes or make fondant figures. I pride myself on being able to create beautiful cakes to fit within most “themes”. They are normally a twist on traditional novelty cakes - making things fun and beautiful.

Q3. Can you make me a custom flavour for my cake?

If there are specific flavours you have in mind that you don’t see on my menu please do get in touch.

Q4. How far in advance do I need to book?

If you know you would like a cake for a certain date, get in touch as soon as you can because I do get booked up quite quickly. Weddings are booked several months in advance and other celebration cakes are usually booked 4-5 weeks before. I can sometimes accommodate last minute requests, so it is always worth checking.

Q5. Can you make me a vegan cake?

I do indeed have a vegan menu. Please get in touch as my vegan options differ from my standard menu.

Q6. Can you make me a gluten free/diary free (whatever else free) cake?

I can cater from most dietary requirements - however due to the nature of my kitchen there may be cross contamination as your cakes will be made using equipment used to process dairy, nuts, eggs and other allergens. Therefore, I do have to say that my cakes are not suitable for those with serious allergies.

Q7. Do you make other things apart from celebration cakes?

I am based in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire. I make all my cakes in my I make all sorts of treats – you can order larger quantities of macarons, cakesicles, cake hearts and cookies. I also make treat boxes year-round and for certain special occasions.

Q8. How do I book a cake?

Fill in the booking form or send me an email - Please provide as much information as possible in your enquiry, such as the date of your event, a number of portions required, style and theme of your special event as well as venue’s address if you require delivery. 

Q9. What if I need to cancel my cake?

When making your booking a 50% non-refundable deposit is required and the full balance is due 5 days before your collection date. Should you unfortunately have to cancel, with good notice it may be possible to transfer your cake to another date should I have availability. If you should need to cancel within the 5 days the full balance will be due for your cake. And remember without a deposit, its just an enquiry, not an order.

Q10. Do you deliver?

Yes, I can deliver your cake at an extra cost.

Q11. How do I pay?

You can pay through the link provided on my ‘Book a cake’ page. Please remember 50% is required to secure the booking, remaining balance 5 days before collection/delivery.
